Industrial Sodium Nitrate 99.3%
Property:Appearance:White fine crystal
Molecular:84.99
Density:2.257
Melting point:271 °C
Decomposition Temperature:380°C
It's easily to be deliquescent and to be dissolved in water and liquid ,but only a little can be dissolved in ethanol and glycerin.
It has strong oxidizing property and can cause the inflammation and explore while mixed with organics ,sulphur and sulfite.etc.
Application:This product is an important chemical material and widely used in the industry including:glass, dye,
detonator,metallurgy,machinery and vitreous enamel.etc
Notice:
1.Stored in the dry and ventilation place and prevent rain and sunlight exposure. rained, heated .
2. Avoid mixing with organic compound or sulphur or reducer during storage and transportation in case of explosion
3.Handle with care against friction and bounce while handling and pile.
4.The fire caused bu sodium nitrate can be put out by using lots of water
Character:
Sodium nitrate is the chemical compound with the formula NaNO3. This salt, also
known as Chile saltpeter or Peru sal
1. Sodium nitrate can be combined with iron hydroxide to make a resin.
2. Sodium nitrate should not be confused with the related compound, sodium nitrite. Sodium
nitrate in the brine gives cooked corned beef its classic reddish color (without it corned beef
comes out gray), and it kills botulism spores. Nitrate is actually changed to nitrite by bacterial
action during processing and storage and nitrate itself has no effect on meat color.
3. It can be used in the production of nitric acid by combining it with sulfuric acid and subsequent
separation through fractional distillation of the nitric acid, leaving behind a residue of sodium
bisulfate. Hobbyist gold refiners use sodium nitrate to make a hybrid aqua regia that dissolves
gold and other metals.
Usage:For chemical, glass, explosive, fireworks, dye, metallurgy, machinery, enamel industry, meat antiseptics, etc.
